ABOUT ME!
Welcome to Room 506! I am thrilled to be back teaching 3rd grade at Bollinger Canyon this year and to be part of such a warm and dynamic staff. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga as well my teaching credential. I have taught in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District for 34 years. I began teaching at Bollinger Canyon School teaching a 5/6 combination. I taught there until the opening of Golden View School where my principal asked me to join the new staff. At Golden View I taught grades 2nd through 6th grade. My love for growth and learning then led me to be one of the teachers to open Creekside. It was everything I had imagined and more. To continue my love for growth I decided to make a change and come to Bollinger where it all began so many years ago.
I live in Walnut Creek with my husband and two daughters. My oldest daughter Angelique graduated from college at University of Oregon. She is now a teacher at Golden View Elementary. My youngest, Anisa has graduated from ASU. We love spending time entertaining family and friends. We are very involved in the local Greek community.
All students have the desire to learn and grow. My job is to provide the environment where learning is fun each day. This makes the students excited about what tomorrow will bring. I am looking forward to an amazing year working with you as a team to make your child’s year the best it can be.
